Gardenback are a three-piece band from Oldham, consisting of Ellis Hodgekiss, Neil Eskins and Jacob Connor, who create psychedelic influenced anthemic garage rock. With a noisy guitar, melodic bass and powerful drums, they reflect upon what they know best; ambition, frustration and ultimately disappointment.
The trio have been playing together for the past year, buzzing around various hives and dives; endlessly churning out new material, building a supportive home audience (including hometown punks CABBAGE), obsessively tinkering with their sound and crafting their live show into a finely tuned, emotive yet explosive machine.
Launching Gardenback late 2016, Emerging North called 2017 the ‘Breakthrough year’ for them, on March 17th they released their first single.
